Is this you?
You’re anxious about your child’s Physics score.
You’re concerned that your child is feeling less and less confident due to his/her struggle in Physics.
You’re wondering, “Would this affect his/her learning in other subjects too?
You know your child can do better. But how?
You’re in the right place and I can help you.
Hello. I’m Kit.
For the past 13 years and counting, I’ve been helping students leapfrog in their Physics grades (at least 2 grades or more).
I use a systematic approach which combines study skills and answering techniques specific to Physics.
I’d like more students to benefit from what I know, so I’m thrilled today to share my Guide to Physics Structured Questions with you.
You see, when students see structured questions, these are their common reactions:
- They go blank
“So many lines, 3 marks – write what?”
- They hope to get lucky
“Just write whatever and hopefully get all the 3 marks.”
- They give up
“I will skip this, 3 marks only… “ fingers crossed and hopefully they get all other questions correct?
- They try their best
He/She starts scribbling mindlessly and uses correction tape and scribbles again…
Sometimes, when they see a scenario they aren’t familiar with, like an exercise machine, they go:
“I’ve never used an exercise machine before, how am I going to answer this question?”
When your child uses this Guide, he/she will
Have clarity on how to break down a physics question
Relate the question to what they have learnt
Organize their answers to answer the question comprehensively
Finally gain up to 8 marks
What my past students and colleagues say about me
No amount of words is enough to express how thankful I am to be in your class this year. I've always dislike Physics and never done well for it, which makes me wonder if I should drop. But I didn't want to do Combined Science because I like Chemistry a lot so I was considering to maybe just drop Physics and do Pure Chemistry. But thanks to you, Ms Gan, your teaching makes me gain interest in Physics and motivated me to give Physics another try. Although I've yet to pass Physics till today. I've seen improvement in my grades. Thank You.
(Ex-student Sec 4 2014) who eventually scored B3 for O Level which is a 4-grade improvement
Thank you for teaching me Science and Physics for the past four and a half years. You gave me hope to pass the subject and encouraged me to study for it. Thank you for making Physics enjoyable to learn as well as interesting.
